About Me

My name is Jade Weston and I am a proofreader with a lot of expertise from my job working for a bank. I have eight years of experience reviewing and editing legal documents, and sixteen years of experience in data entry and data analysis. I have to be meticulous in making sure information is accurate in order to do my job there. I must be careful when reading legal documents at the bank I work at, because one incorrect word could have the document completely removed from the case (which is a very bad thing to happen).

I have received an official certificate to do proofreading from the website Proofread Anywhere. I am, also, a certified master of proofreading.

In my free time, I love to read. My favorite genres are Thriller, Horror, Supernatural, Mystery, Fantasy, and Romance. I’m willing to give most other genres a try as well. I also enjoy reading blogs about short stories, cooking, nutrition, and basically anything else that piques my interest.

My skill set includes being attentive, mindful, and orderly when it comes to reading. I can’t stand it when there are typos or errors in a book (or anything really) that I’m reading for pleasure. I’m particular about word phrasing and formatting. Being honest with my feedback, and being respectful to the author are very important to me. I am a hard worker that puts a lot of care into what I’m doing.
